Young minds are the most impressionable and formative. The Kindergarten in Askeran (Artsakh), which opened in 2002, is sponsored by the Armenian Missionary Associations of America and Canada and has been committed to providing its students with the tools and support to advance to the next grade.
The goal of the teachers at the Kindergarten in Askeran is to enhance each of the 70 students’ performance, by providing a well-organized and enthusiastic atmosphere for learning. The talented teachers nurture the children into respectful, confident and joyful learners.
The AMAA/AMAC Kindergarten in Askeran was officially renamed in October 2018 as the ‘AMAA/AMAC Mr. & Mrs. Yeprem and Zabel Basmadjian Kindergarten’ in loving memory of one of AMAC’s founding members and long time treasurer, Mr. Hagop Basmadjian’s (of Montreal) parents.
