The Armenian Missionary Association of Canada (AMAC) is pleased to report that 12 mission-oriented young adults from the Armenian Evangelical Youth Fellowship (AEYF) performed necessary renovations at the Armenian Evangelical Church of Montreal. Sylvia Jizmejian, the Armenian Evangelical Union of North America (AEUNA) East Coast Minister to Youth, organized the event. The volunteers belong to Armenian Evangelical churches in Eastern United States and Canada.
The volunteers fixed the walls that had been damaged by burst water pipes. They also plastered, sanded and painted several rooms. In addition, they cleared out the overgrown trees and weeds in front of the church and painted the front doors.
The volunteers are grateful to the church ladies for preparing the delicious meals and to Sarkis Torossian for providing the technical supervision.
The AMAC sincerely thanks the AEYF volunteers for giving their time and energy to repair God’s house.
