The AMAA is quickly responding to the needs of the homeland.
Armenia has a vital need for medical provision, and the response was not delayed. A fellow Armenian, Raffi Thokmakjian of Toronto has extended his heartfelt support to the homeland, through the Armenian Missionary Association of Canada.
The medication, sent by the benefactor, was distributed by the AMAA in the framework of AMAA’s border regions assistance program. The medicines were distributed to medical centers operating in border communities such as the Berd medical center, the medical outpatient clinics of Vardenis and Geghamasar, as well as for the Goris medical center.
The centers operating in border communities have an important strategic role for our country, and any support for these centers is every Armenian’s duty.
For instance, the Goris hospital, by the efforts of its heroic staff and of volunteers from all over Armenia– even the four corners of the world– saved the lives of many soldiers during the grave days of the war.
The AMAA will continue its mission to help the border communities, in every way possible.
We are deeply thankful to Raffi Tokmakjian and the Armenian Missionary Association of Canada, for their unwavering support for the homeland.
Our Homeland begins from the border!
