Dear AMAC members and friends,

As the most difficult year in recent memory comes to a close, the board and volunteers of AMAC want to wish you all a blessed and a peaceful Christmas, and a new year that will enable us to forget the painful experiences of 2020.

2020 was a very difficult year for us all. We faced several major challenges: the Lebanese economic crisis, which was exacerbated by the explosion that rocked Beirut; the ominous escalation of COVID-19 cases and the ensuing health and economic problems; and worst of all, the third Artsakh war and the accompanying loss of land and carnage of thousands of lost lives and wounded soldiers.

The AMAC community courageously rose to the occasion. The AMAC board, members, and volunteers responded to these crises and opened their wallets and donated their time and efforts in compassionate acts of generosity.

With your support and volunteer services, the AMAC was able to realize the following during 2020:

  • Assisting the economically devastated Armenians of Lebanon with CAD$20,000
  • Helping to rebuild our Central High School in Beirut with a donation of CAD$51,000
  • Reducing the economic burden of our Artsakh brothers and sisters with CAD$65,000
  • Sending three containers of warm clothes, Christmas gifts, and other supplies to the people of Artsakh.
  • Donating two minibuses to our Armenia partners, who will be able to better serve the people of Artsakh and Armenia.

In addition to the above, the AMAC continued its regular programs:

  • AMAC sponsors extended their love to 146 children in Armenia, Artsakh and the Middle East.
  • We funded the “AMAA/AMAC  Mr. & Mrs. Yeprem and Zabel Basmadjian Kindergarten.”

We want to thank you for partnering with us in this noble mission of helping the needy and less fortunate people around the world.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your loved ones.
