Dear friends of the AMAC

No words can describe the horror and pain that the Lebanese people are enduring in the aftermath of the cataclysmic explosion that rocked their country and homes.

The financial and economic crisis that started over a year ago had already drained the people of Lebanon of all material and emotional resources, leaving thousands of people jobless and causing country-wide poverty. Parents were struggling to feed their children. The Covid-19 pandemic followed, threatening their health and further ruining the country’s already crippled economy. As if this was not enough, the devastating explosion on August 4th destroyed or severely damaged the only remaining “comfort zone” they had… their homes.

The damage caused by these tragic events goes far beyond the physical. It has left the Lebanese people helpless and hopeless.

The Armenian Missionary Association of Canada cannot be indifferent to the suffering of the people of Lebanon. The leadership has decided to immediately raise funds and assist the families that are in dire need of support. This is our opportunity to show solidarity and extend our hands of compassion to our brothers and sisters in Lebanon. 100% of your tax deductible donations will be sent directly to these needy families.

Here are the different ways you can send your donations:
