We are pleased to inform you that the Armenian Evangelical Church of Toronto (AECT) held its annual AMAA-AMAC Sunday on December 10, 2023. Harout Nercessian, AMAA Representative in Canada delivered the sermon, entitled “A Leadership Job Posting – Required Qualifications” (Աշխատանքի Յայտարարութիւն – Պահանջուող որակավորում) based on Exodus 2. He highlighted the qualifications of Moses to be the greatest prophet and man of God in the Bible, after Jesus.
Following the service, Harout Nercessian presented the various outreach ministries of the AMAA and AMAC around the globe. He focused on the organization’s efforts to help the people of Artsakh restore and re-establish their shattered lives in their new homeland, Armenia.
The AMAA Representative acknowledged and expressed heartfelt appreciation for the mission-mindedness of AECT and the outstanding support that she has demonstrated to the AMAC over the last few decades.
Following the presentation, Mr. Hagop Janbazian, a well-respected community leader in Toronto, spoke very highly of the AMAA and the AMAC. He encouraged the congregation to support the work of these two partner organizations.
Following the presentation, many approached the AMAA-AMAC table to ask questions, obtain flyers, sponsor children and make donations.
The Armenian Missionary Association of Canada thanks the Armenian Evangelical Church of Toronto for organizing this event.
