On Saturday, October 23rd, Salpi Nercessian held the second session of her four-session “Helping Your Child Succeed in Life” seminar series.
In Session Two, the parents completed a test to identify their own temperaments and compare them with those of their children. The parents also learned of parenting strategies for best results.
The third session took place on Saturday, October 30th. During this third session, the participants completed a questionnaire to help them discover their own parenting style. Mrs. Nercessian presented and discussed the four parenting styles that psychologists have identified.
The above-mentioned parenting style questionnaire was passed out and completed at the beginning of this third seminar. The trainer than continued with a detailed description of the four styles and explained the impact of each on children.
The participants actively engaged with questions, discussions and plenty of laughs.
The fourth and final session will be held on November 6th. Mrs. Nercessian will present practical steps that parents can take to help their children succeed in life.
